The U Process Model is the work of Otto Scharmer a lecturer at the Sloan School of Management. He draws on the work of biologist and cognitive scientist Francisco Varela.

The U Process offers us a new language of hope and possibility with which to talk about and understand dynamic change. It allows us to think about an alternative "way of being" in the world. It involves transforming habitual ways of seeing and engaging at different levels of consciousness.

The U offers seven core capacities and the activities they enable.
