xxGETTING MORE OUT OF LIFE

It's never too late to get the most out of your life - until it's too late of course. The benefits of coaching yourself, or being coached by another is that the knowledge points you towards new experiences and opportunities - a richer life ?

Only by pushing the limits will you find out where your real abilities lie. Giving yourself time for learning enables you to create the space for new possibilities to emerge.

To develop a 'can do' mindset you need to have one new experience everyday, especially one that scares you or involves some risk. This is important, simply because it is fear that stops you getting more out of your lives.

If you are tuned in to your context and your relationships you can learn a lot everyday - particularly when you make mistakes.

You can learn something from everyone, simply because you can never know everything.

It's also important to live with compassion. Don't miss an opportunty to tell people you care about them. Find a reason to love unconditionally and without expectations. It can be motivating and inspirational. So, ask for what you need - you can only be told no. If this doesn't happen then you are trying hard enough to make a difference.

Just enjoy the journey. Feel good about your life and make it fun. Lighten your load because worrying will make no difference to the outcome.

To be fully present in this moment you must not allow your thoughts to stray into the past or future. View each day as a gift and reflect on all the good things in your life. Appreciate all you have.

Learn to say no. What you put up with can keep you from being yourself and growing as a human being.

People wont stay mad at you for long. Just say you are truly sorry and ask for forgiveness. Forgive more and judge less. We are all facing our challenges, so we shouldn't be so quick to judge others. Offer the respect to others that you would want to be given to yourself.

Learn compassion, tolerance and understanding.

Finally, it is clarity of purpose that gives meaning to life. It changes attitudes and levels of energy. What the purpose is doesn't really matter - as long as it's not illegal, immoral or fattening.
