If
you want to be the best you can be, then here are 10
ways you can behave to get the results you want.
1.
Take good care of yourself
You're no good to others, or to yourself, if you become
tired or ill. Become a model for others by practicing
extreme self-care by paying attention to your health,
your thoughts and how you behave towards others.
2.
Adopt a new delightful habits every day
Identify one new habit you will adopt and practice for
at last for ten days. Start by choosing habits that
delight your soul, such as listening to beautiful music,
writing in your diary, eating well - you decide. Write
them down and do them every day.
3.
Get rid of stuff you don't need
Remove the clutter from your life. Too much stuff can
make it hard for you to see what's important. If you
don't need it, recycle it, sell it on E-Bay. donate
it or throw it way. Some exceptions are allowed, but
be ruthless or you wont feel the benefit.
4.
Get rid of commitments you don't want
You know the ones - you probably cringed when you agreed
to take them on. Find a good time to stop one of these
commitments and do it. Then use the time to do something
that is going to be more important and satisfying to
you.
5.
Be clear about what you want for your life
This will probably be the toughest one on the list,
but it is probably the most important. Write down the
things you want to do with your life. If they are material
items such as a house or car, ask yourself what these
possessions mean to you ? Is it security, prestige,
or something else ? Hire a personal coach if you need
help with this. It's important you think about what
you really value and belive will bring you real satisfaction.
6.Get
organised
If you have managed to get rid of stuff you don't really
need, then this step will be much easier. You'll gain
a lot more productive time if you are not constantly
searching for things. Hire a personal coach if you are
not sure how best to achieve this.
7.
Take care of your needs
There are basic needs that we all have and some which
are unique to you as an individual. You may want respect,
security, appreciation, control, etc. Make sure that
you live you life in ways that enable you to meet your
needs.
8. Eliminate the things you're
putting up with
Make a list of the 215 things that you are tolerating,
such as a dirty car, a sqeaky door, a blunt knife, a
picture that needs framing, etc. Then pick the 10 easiest
ones to take care of and fix them now. Believe it or
not, these things will be bothering you more than you
realise. Notice what happens and how you feel when they
are dealt with.
9.
Celebrate your success
This is important. Celebrate all the little achievements
in your life. Find great ways to appreciate yourself
for everything you do. Give yourself a pat on the back
or treat yourself.
10.
Laugh often
Hopefully laughing made it onto your list of delightful
habits, but in case it didn't include it here. Laughing
makes everyone feel good, it brings health benefits
and makes the world look brighter. Look for things to
make you laugh.
