organisation or community. The people who attend create
the agenda, allowing action to form around the most
important topics.

REAL TIME STRATEGIC CHANGE
Creates
a preferred future that must link closely to real
time action planning. It is highly structured and
uses a common database, combining small groups and
whole community mechanisms.

CONFERENCE MODEL
Composed of
five small conferences to explore vision, customers,
technical issues, design and implementation. Data
Assist Teams work between conferences to engage the
whole organisation and obtain feedback from all sections
of the organisation or community.

SEARCH CONFERENCE
Creates
a future vision starting with an environmental scan
of things that could impact on the 'system in focus'.
Participants seek consensus as they
search for common ground and create a joint action
plan.

PARTICIPATIVE DESIGN
Ensures a bottom-up
change process which starts with an organisation wide
education programme. Management sets minmum controls,
thereby allowing each sub-group to co-ordinate its
own work.

SIMU-REAL
GROUPS
Allows
real-time work on current issues, the testing of future
designs and to learn about the system. The whole group
works on preselected issues with people acting in
their organisation roles. The decision-making process
is agreed in advance.

WORK-OUT INTERVENTIONS
Focuses
on problem identification and process improvement.
The session brings together employees from all functions
to look for ways of changing the way they work to
meet a selected target. They discuss and recommend
process improvements to Change Champions to lead implementation
activity.
